What is eduSure?

eduSure is eduBox's groundbreaking insurance funding engine. It automatically converts supplier discounts into insurance premiums, meaning your child can be covered without you paying extra.

How It Works

  1. Suppliers offer discounts on school supplies listed on eduBox
  2. 30% of each discount is automatically routed to the eduSure premium fund
  3. When the fund reaches the target (set by your school), your child is automatically enrolled in health insurance for the term
  4. You pay nothing extra — the insurance is funded entirely by supplier discounts

What Does It Cover?

eduSure policies typically cover:

  • General practitioner consultations
  • Emergency hospital treatment
  • Prescribed medications
  • Basic dental care

Who is the Underwriter?

eduSure partners with CIMAS Health Services, a licensed medical aid society regulated by IPEC (Insurance and Pensions Commission). This means your child's coverage is backed by a trusted, regulated institution.
